About

Our design firm produces professional results in a creative, comfortable atmosphere. We provide insightful, intuitive creative concepts on a range of subjects in a variety of media.

Our background is in marketing, human communication and fine art and that mix is reflected in our designs. As American architect, designer and inventor Buckminster Fuller said, “When I am working on a problem I never think about beauty. I only think about how to solve the problem. But when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it is wrong.”

These two guys are a devoted presence in the studio. They keep up the mood and remind us to stretch when we’ve been seated at the desk too long. When we stand up, they stand up and they always “take a bow” by stretching out their front paws and leaning their weight back. It’s the “Downward Dog” yoga pose and it reminds us to take a quick stretch as well!

Our Design Philosophy

Professional Value

The MOST important thing for our marketing and graphic design clients to know is that the investment in professional design is a crucial part of your business plan. For example, when you have a logo designed, it is one of the most important decisions you will make throughout the life of your business. It’s right up there with things like picking a location or naming your company. Your logo is your identity. It’s how potential customers will identify you. It is how most people will make their first impression of you. It expresses who you are, your view of quality, your level of professionalism, your attention to detail, your commitment to what you do.

Your public image:
The same goes for your website, brochures, ads, diagrams and the rest of your public persona. It all helps to make up your professional image. You can be the very best at what you do, but if you don’t get that across in your messages to the public, your hard work is wasted.

You don’t need someone to just throw marketing lingo at you. You need someone to use an intuitive understanding of human behavior, motivations, wants and interpersonal social patterns to create effective design and write clear copy for all of your communications.

Our Creative Process

Training:
Our background is in marketing, human communication and fine art and that mix is reflected in our designs. As American architect, designer and inventor Buckminster Fuller said, “When I am working on a problem I never think about beauty. I only think about how to solve the problem. But when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it is wrong.”

Intuition:
Our design firm produces professional results in a creative, comfortable atmosphere. We provide insightful, intuitive creative concepts on a range of subjects in a variety of media. Einstein said that “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. ”We value the intuitive mind above all. We have training, experience and an in-depth knowledge of markets and motivations. But when it comes down to it, the key ingredient is an accurate intuition for how to apply all of this visually to a specific client’s situation.

Our goal is to create designs that are simultaneously strong, beautiful, effective, functional and powerful.

Jonathan Cousins, one of our team of expert consultants, once said, “An artist is a philosopher who makes things thoughtfully. A craftsman is a worker who makes things beautifully. And a designer is a professional who makes things purposefully.” We try our best to be all three.
